The Metropolitan Museum of Art presents an exhibition exploring the symbolism of the unicorn, a major motif of several of the tapestries at The Cloisters, which is marking its 75th anniversary.

Approximately forty works drawn from the museum's permanent collection, private collections, and other institutions are are arranged to suggest the various meanings of the unicorn in different ages and across cultures.

Access to this exhibit is included with general admission to the museum.

Note: This exhibit is located in the Main Building of the Met, not at the Cloisters.
