Staten Island artist Antonio Reonegro shows off his collection of backstage passes and t-shirts he designed for the popular group, the Grateful Dead, at the Wagner College Gallery, Grymes Hill.

Reonegro worked for the band for six years, designing nearly 170 passes that were handed out to friends and family of the band to get backstage. While none of the original passes — which are a collectors items for fans of the band — will be on display at the gallery, Reonegro reproduced the art onto larger pieces of Plexiglas to display at the show.

The shows runs until January 5 and admission is free. The Wagner College Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with hours extended to 7 p.m. on Thursdays. For more information on the show, call the Wagner College art department at 718-390-3192, or email gallery director Bill Murphy at bmurphy@wagner.edu.
