The show centers around the work of Mexican photojournalist Enrique Metinides, but includes photos and videos by artists working in Kingston, Sao Paulo, San Francisco, Mumbai and The Bronx. The "rituals" here are ones the artists captured or incorporated into their work — as well as the ritual of city-dwellers staring at spectacles.

The show runs through the end of the year. The museum, at 1040 Grand Concourse, is open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except Friday, when the museum stays open until 8 p.m.). Admission is always free.
