Unicycle NYC Bridge Tour is organizing a group long-distance ride to commemorate Brooklyn Unicycle Day (as proclaimed by borough president Marty Markowitz). Single-wheel riders are invited to gather at City Hall in Manhattan, cross the Brooklyn Bridge, and cycle down to Coney Island.

At 2:00 p.m., riders will gather on the East Side of City Hall Park (on Park Row). The Brooklyn Bridge crossing will take place at 3:00 p.m., and riders will pass through Grand Army Plaza at 4:00 p.m. and arrive at Nathan's in Coney Island at around 6:00 p.m. A dinner break weill be held at 6:30 p.m., a group photo will be taken at Deno's Wonder Wheel at 7:15 p.m., a one-wheel stage show will be held at 8:00 p.m., and fireworks will be set off at 9:30 p.m.

Organizers suggest that participants be experienced unicycle riders comfortable riding in traffic. Unicycles used for the ride should not utilize a tire smaller than 26 inches. Riders are strongly advised to wear helmets.
