The Greater Astoria Historical Society, which worked as a historical consultant on the new Leonardo DiCaprio film, presents this lecture on the Queens landscapes that were featured in the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic.

The lecture starts with a brief history of Northern Boulevard and pictures from the time that Gatsby himself would have seen. The second half shows the film's interpretation of locations, based on the actual images used by the filmmakers.
