MoMath presents the next installment in the Math Encounters series, Harmony from Numbers: The Mathematical Structure of Musical Sound. Dr. Parag Chordia, who will lead the discussion, is the former director of the Music Intelligence Lab at Georgia Tech and current chief scientist at Smule, where he develops intelligent music algorithms that power music creation apps used by more than 50 million people worldwide. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the presentation will begin at 7 p.m. This event, held at the Baruch College Conference Center, is free and open to the public.
