The organizers say: a "performance of Butoh — the avant-garde Japanese dance form that developed after Hiroshima — that seeks stillness in search of the sacred within. In the course of an hour, the dancers embark on a symbolic journey of human life through moments of elation and struggle as articulated in the unique form of Butoh dance."

The show is presented by BAAD! The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance and is part of the Asian American Arts Alliance's Locating the Sacred Festival, which takes place across the city from September 12 to 23, 2012.
