The "Grand By Design" exhibition in Grand Central kicks off the terminal's centennial year by showcasing rarely seen items from the building's past inside Vanderbilt Hall. The exhibit, presented by the New York Transit Museum, features artifacts and photographs that highlight the structure's elegance and glamour, as well as its function.

The exhibit is free and open to the public daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Transit Museum educators will lead 15-minute tours of the exhibition every hour on the half hour between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
