According to the Gowanus Canal Conservancy website, on this bird walk, you can "Witness the spectacle of autumn migration...as songbirds follow the Atlantic migratory flyway southward to their tropical wintering grounds. Join urban naturalist and NYC bird expert Gabriel Willow to look for swallows, tanagers, warblers, flycatchers, and other neo-tropical migrants in the wilds along the banks of the Gowanus Canal. Bring binoculars if you have them, and comfortable walking shoes."
