The Friars Club's Fifth Annual Film festival opens with a comedy April 1.

The festival offers up-and-coming comedy filmmakers a chance to present their work. The six-day event opens with film "He's Way More Famous Than You."

In the film, actors play tongue-and-cheek caricatures of themselves to help tell the story of one fame-obsessed actress who is willing to do anything to make it big. The film features cameos from actors Jesse Eisenberg and Ben Stiller, among others.

The festival runs from April 1-6. For times and ticket information, visit www.friarsclub.com/filmfestival.
