Louis Armstrong House Museum will present the exclusive free film screening of Satchmo the Great on Saturday, May 12th at 8:00 pm in the Garden at the Louis Armstrong House Museum.

The event is being put on by Partners in Preservation.

This 1957 film is a biography of jazz-great Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong. The movie tracks Armstrong and his band as they hop across continents before finally landing home to join forces with Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic for a symphonic version of St. Louis Blues. 

The free screening starts at 8 pm, May 12th at Louis Armstrong House Museum, 34-56, 107th Avenue, Corona

Seating is limited and is available on a first-come basis. 

Normal museum hours are Tuesday to Friday: 10 am - 5pm

Weekends: 12 pm - 5pm 

Museum Tickets cost $10 (adults)/ $7 (children)/free (members)
