The Harlem reading series First Person Plural returns for another session of its third season on Nov. 19.

Launched by three Harlem writers — Stacy Parker Le Melle, Wendy S. Walters and Amy Benson — the event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shrine World Music Venue.

The reading will feature novelist and political commentator Ru Freeman, poet Randall Horton, fiction writer Karen Russell and documentary filmmaker Pam Sporn.

The writers are invited to read or perform pieces that explore the collective voice and may also read from other recent work. Admission is free. Zubetei will open and close the event with a DJ set.

Shrine is located at 2271 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard between 133rd and 134th streets.
