The Alley Pond Environmental Center comes to Maple Grove with hands-on summer science workshops.

On June 22, kids will study pond ecology and test water samples (outdoors by lake).

On June 29, the workshop will focus on endangered species. It will also discuss habitat loss, pollution and invasive species (indoor at the center).

On July 6, kids will get a chance to see live animal presentation, including rabbit, dove, guinea pig and snake (indoor at the center).

All workshops are for children 8 and older.
