Bronx and city officials have long discussed extending the Metro-North line from Penn Station through the east side of the borough.

This informational meeting will give an update on that plan, whose feasibility and environmental impact are currently being assessed.

The meeting will touch on four proposed stations that would serve Morris Park, Co-op City, Hunts Point and Parkchester and provide connections to Penn Station, Westchester and Connecticut.

The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room at the Hutchinson Metro Center.
