A night of networking and holiday generosity at El Habanero in Port Morris, where Bronx entrepreneurs and others will meet to socialize and collect toys for children in Bronx shelters.

The poet and entrepreneur Mariposa Maria Teresa Fernandez will share her work. There will also be a silent auction and a raffle. The event goes from 7 to 10 p.m. at El Habanero, located at 43 Bruckner Boulevard. Admission is free and open to the public, but attendees are asked to bring an unwrapped toy, which will be donated to a child in one of BronxWorks' shelters.

The event is organized by the Bronx Entrepreneurs and Business Network (BEBN), Amapola Events Planning and PRSUN Communications.
