QUEENS — Two men stole more than $35,000 in valuables including cash, an Apple iPad, Seiko watches and a bangle bracelet from three Kew Gardens apartments over three days, NYPD officials said.

They first broke into a home near Kew Gardens Road and 82nd Avenue about 11:30 a.m. Sept. 30 to steal $2,000 and another $7,205 worth of jewelry, luxury clothing items and electronic devices, the NYPD said.

They then hit two apartments on Oct. 2, first breaking into one near 136th Street and Kew Gardens Road around 8 a.m., making off with $25,000 worth of jewelry and $1,400 in electronics, authorities said.

Police released photos taken of the suspects during this incident, one of which shows one of them taking a swig of what appears to be a beer.

Three hours later, they climbed through the rear window of a home near Brevoort Street and Metropolitan Avenue to take $300 and various IDs, police said.

It was not immediately clear what tools the suspects used to enter the apartments, police said.

The suspect seen drinking from a bottle is between 25 and 35 and was last seen in a gray shirt with a black and white baseball cap, police said.

His accomplice was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, dark-colored jeans and gray sweatshirt, police said.

Neither had been arrested as of Wednesday, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
