BROOKLYN — A boozed-up bigot hurled racial epithets at his fellow straphangers aboard a Brooklyn-bound L train before they pushed him onto the platform at the next stop and tossed a cup of soup on him.
The hate-spewing straphanger, seen sipping from a can of Bud Light Lime-A-Rita, repeatedly yelled the n-word before shouting, “I talk s--t because I know can. I’m a lawyer. I went to NYU Law. F--k you!” according to video obtained by Gothamist.

When riders confronted him, he continued his diatribe and said he needed to fetch his bag from a nearby seat.
When the train pulled into the Bedford Avenue stop in Williamsburg, and the other passengers tried to remove him from the train — with one straphanger showering him with a cup of soup.
Witness Joshua Pyne told Gothamist the chaos unfolded around 2 p.m. on Saturday.
“After Bedford, the woman [who first called him out] kind of broke down,” he said. “She and the larger gentlemen in black embraced and there was a good sense that social justice had been served.
“We, the handful of folks that had witnessed the entire thing from the start, wished the guy well and hoped he'd have a better weekend.”
NYPD officials on Tuesday said they were looking into the incident.
