UPPER WEST SIDE — A boy was seriously injured after a cyclist struck him on Central Park West Friday afternoon, officials and witnesses said.

The child, whose age was not immediately known, was hit near the bike lane on Central Park West and 93rd Street at about 3:22 p.m., an FDNY spokesman and witness told DNAinfo.

"He was unconscious for a few seconds — he was knocked out," said Karma Gurung, who was sitting in his car at the intersection when the collision happened.

The boy then came to and started to cry before being treated by paramedics, the witness added.

"They took him away on a stretcher," he said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s in serious condition, the fire official added.

Gurung said the cyclist stopped after hitting the boy and appeared to have hurt his elbow.

The NYPD did not have any immediate details.
