THE BRONX — A pair of muggers  — one of whom was wearing an "I Love New York" hoodie — punched another woman in the face as she waited for a bus and took her phone, police said Friday.

They attacked the 25-year-old from behind at a stop at East 169th Street and Intervale Avenue about midnight Sept. 1, police said.

They then stole her Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and head set before fleeing, the NYPD said.

It's unclear whether they spoke to the victim beforehand, but she didn't know her attackers, police said.

She suffered bruising and swelling but refused medical attention, officials said.

Bother suspects are about 5-foot-8 and 125 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. One was last seen wearing a pink “I Love New York” hoodie, dark jeans and sandals.

The other was wearing a gray hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers a 1-800-577-TIPS.
