Man Critically Injured in Hunts Point Shooting, NYPD Says

THE BRONX — A man was in critical condition after getting shot twice in the neck near the Hunts Point Avenue subway station Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The 44-year-old was shot after getting into a dispute with another man at Hunts Point Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard at about 2:22 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said.

He was taken to Lincoln Hospital in critical condition.

Police were looking for the suspect, who was last seen wearing all back. Further information about the suspect wasn't immediately available.

There was no immediate information on what sparked the dispute or if the victim knew the shooter.
