By Ben Fractenberg | September 20, 2017 6:36pm

STATEN ISLAND — A 6-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after falling out a third-story window of a home in Grasmere Wednesday, according to officials.

The child fell at 65 Stonegate Drive near West Fingerboard Road at about 4:54 p.m., NYPD and FDNY spokesmen said.

He was transported to Staten Island University Hospital North in serious but stable condition, according to officials.

It was not immediately clear how the boy fell out the window, but it initially appeared to be accidental, sources said.
