'Extensive Delays' on L Trains Between Manhattan and Brooklyn, MTA Says

By Aidan Gardiner | September 11, 2017 7:25am | Updated on September 11, 2017 8:16am

BROOKLYN — L trains resumed service between Manhattan and Brooklyn with "extensive delays" after they were suspended because of a train with mechanical problems ahead of the morning rush, the MTA said.

The train started experiencing problems in the Montrose Avenue station about 7:05 a.m., but service had resumed by 8 a.m., the MTA said.

Commuters should expect "extensive delays," the MTA warned.
