21-Year-Old Bronx Man Fatally Shot in Head a Block From His Home, NYPD Says

MORRISANIA — A 21-year-old man was fatally shot in the head less than a block from his Daly Avenue home Tuesday night, police said.

Bryce Hamilton was at a deli at the corner of Daly Avenue and East 180th Street at about 8:43 p.m. when he got into an argument with three men inside, an NYPD spokesman said.

Hamilton, who lived at 2114 Daly Ave., was then followed out of the store by the trio before being shot in the head.

He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have surveillance video of the altercation inside the deli, but not of the actual shooting, the NYPD spokesman added. Police are not yet sure how many, if any, of the three men who argued with Hamilton were involved in the shooting.

There were no immediate arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
