NEW YORK CITY — DNAinfo New York spent the summer traveling around the boroughs looking for the best New York City-themed tattoos, but in a city of 8.2 million people, we actually missed a few.

So we crawled social media and found even more, from the Wu-Tang Clan logo to Coney Island's parachute jump, and rounded them up for an end-of-summer extravaganza:

A tattoo of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge done by Tom Connors at Bound for Glory in West Brighton.

A cover-up of the New York City skyline by Rebeka Sobodacha.

New York Times travel editor Dan Saltzstein sent in a photo of his New York City skyline tattoo on his arm.

A cityscape with the Coney Island parachute drop, the Statue of Liberty, a subway car and more done by Brooklyn Tattoo founder Adam Suerte.

Another one by Suerte of the Barclays Center with the D train and the Brooklyn Bridge.

A Wu-Tang Clan logo with the Brooklyn Bridge inside done by Pixie at Wyld Chyld in Long Island.
