CONCORD — A man was severely injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Wednesday night, police said.
The 61-year-old was crossing the intersection of Narrows Road South and Richmond Road when he was hit about 9:28 p.m. by the driver of an unidentified vehicle who then fled the location, a spokesman for the NYPD said.
The victim was taken to Richmond University Medical Center with severe injuries to his face and left leg, the NYPD said.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing, police said.
