BROOKLYN — A 6-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a car on East 33rd Street, according to authorities.
The child was playing on the sidewalk outside 1925 E. 33rd St. near Filmore Ave. around 1:20 p.m. when he ran into the street and was struck by a Jeep, police said.
He was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical but stable condition, authorities said.
The driver remained at the scene, police said. No criminality is suspected and no arrests had been made as of Friday afternoon.
