PORT RICHMOND — A woman stiffed a cab driver on a $600 fare after he drove her nearly five hours from Virginia to Staten Island, prosecutors said.

Cristina Cama, 24, got in a cab in Woodbridge, Virginia on Monday, then asked the driver to take her more than 200 miles to Staten Island, according to a criminal complaint.

When she was dropped off at about 12:30 p.m. in front of 137 Heberton Ave., blocks away from her Nicholas Avenue home, Cama refused to pay the $600 fare, authorities said.

She was arrested about an hour later and charged with theft of services and petit larceny at her arraignment, the Staten Island District Attorney's office said. She was released without bail.

Her lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment Friday.
