HUNTERS POINT — There's a new kid on the NYPD's block.

Donnie Wahlberg, former boy band star and current lead on the CBS TV series "Blue Bloods," stopped by the 108th Precinct to pose for photos with officers while filming an episode of the hit police show Tuesday.

The precinct tweeted pictures of the visit by Whalberg, who plays NYPD Det. Danny Regean on the show. Co-star Marisa Ramirez was also on hand, according to the tweets, in which the stars are seen snapping pictures on the steps of the precinct's station house on 50th Avenue and Vernon Boulevard.

The 108th Precinct even offered its "assistance" to the fictional police officers.

"Blue Bloods" was filming on several blocks of Hunters Point Tuesday, according to fliers posted around the neighborhood.

This isn't the first time the actor, who co-owns the burger chain Wahlburgers with brother Mark Wahlberg, was spotted in Queens. His show has previously filmed on the streets of Kew Gardens and Forest Hills.
