Trump's Visit to Cause Delays, Street Closures in Midtown, NYPD Says

MIDTOWN — President Donald Trump’s second visit to the city since his move to the White House will bring street closures around Trump Tower.

The NYPD will have closures and vehicle security checkpoints for random safety inspections on Fifth and Madison avenues from Sunday through Wednesday. Fifth Avenue will remain open to southbound traffic and drivers can expect delays in the area.

The following streets will be closed beginning at about midnight Sunday:

• 58th Street between Sixth and Madison avenues

• 55th Street between Fifth and Madison avenues

There will be limited access to 56th Street between Sixth and Fifth avenues.

Drivers are advised to avoid east Midtown. You can check MTA bus service changes here
