SUNSET PARK — A fitness playground with wall-to-wall trampolines, dodge ball and slam-dunk courts will open near Industry City in the spring, the owners told DNAinfo New York.

The Syosset-based Bounce! Trampoline Sports company will expand into the city with its sixth location of wall-to-wall trampolines that will not only awaken your inner child but spice up your fitness routine, said Park Slope resident Brad Sharon, who co-owns Bounce.

"Jumping on a trampoline is extremely advantageous for fitness aside from just being fun," Sharon said. "But it's not just jumping on a trampoline — we have activities for young and old to have a good time."

The fitness playground will stretch out in a nearly football field sized lot on Second Avenue near Industry City — chosen in part for the slew of young families in the surrounding areas — with basketball lanes for a run-and-jump slam dunk, dodgeball courts and weekly "Jump ‘n' Glow" events where a black light will illuminate jumpers' gear.

Budding gymnasts will also get a chance to test their skills on obstacle courses based on the popular "American Ninja Warrior" television show on NBC where they can go at their own speed or race their buddies.

Toddlers will even have a chance to hop around with their parents during special sessions.

Bounce just "inked the lease," according to Sharon, and is in the midst of designing the jumping junglegym.
