MIDTOWN — Three muggers slashed a young man with a box cutter before stealing his iPhone and wallet containing his school ID and $30 in cash Monday afternoon, police said.

The 18-year-old man, whose name wasn't immediately released, was mugged by three men near West 50th Street and Eighth Avenue about 5 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said Tuesday.

One of the suspects slashed the man's left hand, police said.

They robbed him, fled and hadn't been arrested as of Tuesday morning, police said.

The victim was treated at Mount Sinai St. Luke's before being released, police said.
