Armed Robbers Steal Phones and Cash From Jamaica Stores, Police Say

QUEENS — Police are looking for a pair of armed robbers they said stole phones and cash from two Jamaica stores earlier this month.

The suspects first struck on Sunday, July 2, when they entered the Metro PCS store at 110-32 Farmers Blvd. around 7:20 p.m. They brandished a silver and black firearm and stole four cellphones and two Bluetooth speakers worth approximately $500, before fleeing on foot northbound on Farmers Boulevard, police said.

About three weeks later, on Saturday, July 22, they robbed another Metro PCS store, at 188-08 Jamaica Ave., officials said. The men walked into the store around 10 a.m. and demanded cash and phones. They made off with approximately $100 they took from the cash register and several cellphones, authorities said.

No one was injured during the incidents, police said.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspects captured during the second incident.
