MANHATTAN — A teen mugger stole $10 off a man reading the newspaper in Central Park in broad daylight Monday, police said.

The suspect, who appears to be 14 or 15 years old, mugged the 22-year-old man near the William Tecumseh Sherman monument at East 59th Street about 5:18 p.m., NYPD said.

The suspect said he had a gun so the victim handed over $10 before the suspect fled, police said.

The suspect, who can be seen in police video released Monday night, fled the park near Fifth Avenue and West 102nd Street, police said.

He was last seen in a dark hoodie, dark jeans and black sneakers, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
