BROOKLYN — Four men pretending to be immigration officers shoved a cyclist to the ground before robbing him in Williamsburg, police said.
The four men drove up in a gray minivan alongside the 25-year-old cyclist near Johnson Avenue and Humboldt Street about 10 p.m. July 11 and flashed fake silver badges, claiming to immigration officers, NYPD officials said.
They told him to pull over, got out and then shoved him to the ground, police said.
They grabbed his wallet and took out $60 before giving the wallet back and fleeing, police said.
Three of the suspects can be seen fleeing in police footage released Sunday afternoon.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
