LOWER EAST SIDE — Police are looking for a pair of men who robbed another man at gunpoint in the rear of a Madison Street apartment building before trying to use the victim's debit card at a nearby deli.
The two suspects robbed the 36-year-old at gunpoint behind 160 Madison St., between Rutgers and Pike streets, around 2:30 a.m. on July 20, making off with $40 in cash, a military ID, a Colorado drivers license and a Chase Visa debit card, police said.
One of the suspects then tried to use the debit card at the nearby Loho Gourmet Deli at 204 Clinton St., according to authorities.
Police released surveillance footage of that suspect, though no information was immediately available on the second suspect.
The 7th Precinct shared a wanted poster of the suspect via Twitter Monday evening.
