STATEN ISLAND — A 1-year-old girl died Friday morning after her parents found her unconscious and unresponsive in their bed, police said.

The parents of Sayah Reynoso rushed her to Staten Island University North Hospital from their home at 269 Targee St. near Laurel Avenue at about 8:15 a.m., according to the NYPD.

There were no obvious signs of trauma on the child, and NYPD spokesman said, and the medical examiner will determine her cause of death.

The Administration for Children's Services did not return an immediate request for comment seeking information on any interactions they may have had with the toddler or her parents.
