BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Two teenage girls were wounded in a drive-by shooting Thursday night, police said.

The 18- and 19-year-old victims were sitting in a parked Toyota Sedan on Myrtle Avenue between Marcy and Tompkins avenues at about 6:50 p.m. when a man pulled up alongside them and opened fire before fleeing, the NYPD said.

The 18-year-old was hit in the leg, while the 19-year-old suffered cuts to the head that police said were likely from broken glass.

Paramedics rushed both women to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

Two people sitting in the back of the Toyota were uninjured, police said.

Investigators recovered a firearm at the scene, but there were no arrests as of 9 p.m. Thursday. Police were not immediately able to provide a description of the shooter or his vehicle, a spokeswoman said.
