MANHATTAN — A straphanger rubbed a woman’s butt as she rode the 3 train near Times Square, the NYPD said.
The 28-year-old victim was aboard the train traveling toward the 42nd Street-Times Square subway station around 9:10 a.m. on May 17, when a man she didn’t know approached her from behind and started rubbing her buttocks, police.
Soon after, the woman got off the train and snapped a photo of the suspect, the NYPD said.
Police are now searching for an approximately 220-pound man with a goatee and braided black hair, standing at around 5-foot-10, who was last seen wearing a blue short sleeve shirt, khaki pants and black sneakers.
