PARK SLOPE — The Brooklyn community board manager accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend has extended his leave of absence from the board through the end of August.

Longtime Community Board 6 District Manager Craig Hammerman — who is currently on leave after accusations of stalking his ex — was set to return to the board last week but decided to extend his leave until Aug. 23, CB6 chairman Sayar Lonial wrote in an emailed statement to the board.

"Craig has asked for an extension on his leave of absence, and that leave has been signed off by his physician," Lonial wrote.

News of the extension was first reported by Patch.

Hammerman took a 60-day leave in May to spend time out of the city after he was arrested on April 2 for hacking his ex's Uber account to follow her to the Hotel RL on Broadway near Lawton Street, according to court documents.

He then broke an order of protection five days later after he followed her into Park Slope bar The Gate, prosecutors said.

Hammerman has worked on the board since 1990 and earns $112,000 a year, according to public records.

He rebuffed a plea deal last month that would have forced him to admit to a violation while more serious charges would have been dropped, according to his lawyer.

The city's Law Department is looking into the situation after Lonial asked investigators to offer legal guidance on the situation, the board chairman said.

Calls to Hammerman's lawyer went unreturned Monday.

Hammerman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

He is due back in court on Aug. 7.
