CONCOURSE VILLAGE — A clumsy burglar repeatedly tried to steady himself on an empty drawer and a cement brick placed on top of a swivel chair to reach into a Bronx apartment to steal a wallet from the window sill, according to police.

The male suspect, who was caught on video, reached into the victim's window a little before 7 a.m. on July 4, in the area of McClellan Street and Sherman Avenue in the 44th Precinct, according to the NYPD.

The suspect, after getting his hands on the wallet, ran west on McClellan Street. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, a white T-shirt, dark shorts and black sneakers, according to police.
