LOWER EAST SIDE — A burglar broke into a Clinton Street apartment through the building's backyard Monday and made off with two MacBooks and a designer skirt, police said.

The man entered the apartment between Stanton and East Houston streets around 11 a.m. through a sliding glass door from the building's outside terrace, the victim told police.

The burglar made off with two laptops, a MacBook Pro valued at $1,249 and MacBook Air valued at $1,200, and a red Balenciaga skirt valued at $1,000 as well as some bank checks, according to a police report.

Police are asking anyone with information on the suspect to call Detective Nicholas Isolano at 212-477-7671 or Detective Borough Manhattan South at 212-477-7447.
