THE BRONX — A man died a day after was beaten by a group of men after he opened the door of another person's car, sources said.
The 56-year-old man, whose name wasn't immediately released, opened the door of a car that had some people in it outside 37 Featherbed Lane, near Inwood Avenue, about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, sources said.
A group of men then attacked him, police said.
He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he died the next day, police said.
There were no immediate arrests, police said.
NYPD officials did not provide information about the attackers or anything more about the attack.
