Snag a Williamsburg Studio for $722 Per Month

WILLIAMSBURG — Try your luck at scoring a $722 studio in a new apartment building around the corner from McCarren Park, three blocks from the Bedford Avenue L train stop in a new building with a rooftop terrace and a gym. 

Ten subsidized studios, one and two-bedroom apartments in a building at 174 North 11th St. are now available the city's subsidized housing lottery, NYC Housing Connect.

Studios start at $722 per month for single people who earn between 30,480 and $40,080 a year. 

One-bedroom apartments rent at $741 per month for single people and two-person households who earn between $34,183 and $45,840 annually.

Lastly, two-bedroom apartments in the building cost $900 and are for two, three and four-person households who earn between $41,692 and $57,240 a year. 

Applications are due on July 28.

The building boasts a rooftop terrace that's open to all residents and also has a fitness center, car and bike parking, storage, washer and dryer facility, though additional fees may apply for those.

Residents of Community Board 1 will get preference on half of the apartments. 

The subsidized apartments are funded through the 421-a tax break program. 

A market rate studio in the building costs around $2,500, one-bedrooms rent at around $3,000 and two-bedrooms for around $4,500 according to Street Easy listings
