MANHATTAN — A motorcyclist was killed when he was ejected from his bike and hit by an SUV after crashing into a crash cushion Thursday morning, police said.

The motorcyclist was driving east on the outer roadway of the bridge into Brooklyn when he crashed his Yamaha motorcycle about 3:30 a.m., NYPD officials said.

He was ejected from the motorcycle, then was struck by the SUV traveling in the same direction, according to a police report.

He was pronounced dead at Woodhull Hospital, police said.

The SUV driver, whose identity wasn't immediately released, stayed at the scene and wasn't immediately arrested or charged, police said.

Police said their investigation continues.

Correction: An earlier version of this story misidentified the victim in the crash, NYPD sources said.
