QUEENS — A man was taken into custody after his 26-year-old roommate was found stabbed to death early Monday morning inside a Richmond Hill apartment they shared, police said.
The victim was stabbed in the neck inside his third floor apartment at 94-28 117 St., near Atlantic Avenue, around 2:30 a.m., authorities said.
The man was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the NYPD. The identities of the victim and the man in custody were not immediately released.
Investigators recovered a knife at the scene and the victim’s roommate was taken into custody, although charges are pending, police said Monday morning.
The motive for the attack remains unclear.
