MIDTOWN — Police are looking for a man they said stabbed a teenager in the back after the two got into an argument inside a Midtown restaurant.

The attacker first got into a dispute with the 19-year-old victim in the back of Wok to Walk at Eighth Avenue and 38th Street at about 8 p.m. on June 18, according to the NYPD.

The argument escalated and the man then took out a knife and stabbed the teen in the back.

The suspect then fled north on Eight Avenue, while the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

Police described the suspect as weighing about 225 pounds and standing about 6-foot-1, with a tattoo on his left forearm.
