HUDSON YARDS — A pair principals at Success Academy charter schools in Harlem and Cobble Hill will take the helm at a new outpost opening in the Hudson Yards this fall.

William Loskoch, who was the principal at Success Academy Harlem 4 for the past four years, will serve as the first principal of the Success Academy Hudson Yards elementary school heading to 555 10th Ave., at West 41st Street, spokeswoman Nicole Sizemore said.

Malik Russell, who was the principal at Success Academy Cobble Hill Middle School this past year and previously worked at academies in The Bronx and in Harlem, will be principal of the new charter's middle school, she added.

Success Academy bought the space on West 41st Street for around $68 million last year.

The elementary school will have a kindergarten and first grade when it opens this fall, with plans to add second through fourth grades over the next four years. The middle school will start off with fifth and sixth grades and expand to include seventh and eighth grades within the next three years, Sizemore said.

“We’re thrilled to be opening this new space in the Hudson Yards area, and this school will enroll a diverse student population similar to our schools in Hell’s Kitchen, Union Square and Upper West,” she wrote in an email.

Students hoping to attend Success Academy schools are selected through a random lottery.

The operator expects to have enrolled around 420 elementary school students and 480 middle school students at its Hudson Yards location by 2020, Sizemore noted.
