BROOKLYN — Police arrested a man Tuesday they said fatally stabbed and beat a man with an aluminum bat for having sex with his girlfriend in a threesome in Park Slope a day before, sources said.

Christopher Membreno, 24, attacked Manos Ikonomidis, 20, about 4 a.m. outside the 16th Street apartment building near Seventh Avenue where the victim had been having sex with the supsect's girlfriend and a 21-year-old man, according to officials and sources.

One of the men started recording the tryst without the woman's consent so she called it off and asked to be taken home, sources said Monday.

Ikonomidis stayed behind as she and the other man left, sources said. But the other man returned and the victim stepped outside where Membreno and two others attacked him, police said.

The trio stabbed Ikonomidis in the chest, back and left flank while beating him with a baseball bat, police said.

Neighbors said they heard a woman screaming "What happened? What happened? Oh, my God!"

Ikonomidis, of Gravesend, staggered through the building's hallway, looking for help, neighbors said.

"I came out and saw the kid bleeding, but I couldn't see where from. He was all pale. He was on his back. He was wearing black. He was mumbling, but you couldn't understand what he was saying. He wasn't putting his words together," said first floor tenant Mike Rivera, 49.

Ikonomidis was pronounced dead at Methodist Hospital, police said.

Investigators recovered the bat at the scene, sources said.

Membreno was arrested about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday for murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

He hadn't been arraigned by late Tuesday morning, records show.

Membreno has been arrested previously for criminal mischief in October 2011, police said. Another arrest on the same date was sealed. The details of those arrests weren't immediately clear.

Police said they're continuing to investigate the homicide.
