QUEENS — A burglar wearing slacks, dress shoes, a button-down shirt and tie broke into two Forest Hills businesses within less than two weeks, making off with cash, laptops and a plant, police and an employee said.

The first incident happened on Friday, May 19 around 11 p.m., when the suspect broke into H&L Counseling Services at 115-10 Queens Blvd. and stole $200 and two laptops worth about $800, before fleeing on foot, authorities said.

The burglar struck again on Thursday, June 1 around 8 a.m. This time, he entered Greiser Dental Office at 69-60 108th St. through an unlocked first floor window and stole a pot with peace lilies, officials and an employee at the office said.

The employee also said that the burglar most likely wanted to steal a computer from the office but got scared away by a doorman.

Cameras captured images of the suspect during the June 1 incident, the NYPD said.

Police described the man as approximately 25 years old, with a medium build and dark hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
