THE BRONX — A teenager suffered life-threatening injuries when a young man he'd been talking to on a Concourse Village street corner shot him in the chest, police said.

The 18-year-old victim, whose name wasn't immediately released, was at the corner of Morris Avenue and East 161st Street about 10:25 p.m. when the suspect came up to him and started a conversation, NYPD officials said.

The suspect then shot him in the chest and fled, police said.

The victim was listed in critical condition at Lincoln Hospital, police said.

The suspect, who can be seen in photos released Wednesday, hadn't been arrested as of Thursday morning, police said.
